AC Shadows Unveils Surprising AoT Event for Thanksgiving

In a unexpected collaboration that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.

The mission centers on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an unique katana alongside several objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Content

This release also adds the game's latest no-cost story addition, titled "The Mystery."
