200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar

To make Cocktail Base: Mix the specified spirits and syrup in a large bottle, let it rest for an hour, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.

When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of the batch mix into a mixing glass containing ice, gently stirring gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain to a cold coupe glass or similar, garnish with the cranberries adding the final touch with a light spray of mandarin oil over the drink.
